Jaguar / Land Rover ranks all of their Technicians in North America, encouraging them to be the best in the industry. The highest level is “Master Tech” status, we at Grand Touring have 9 which is the most in Canada at one dealer, our Tech’s take great pride in their ongoing training and being a Master Tech.
Each year Jaguar / Land Rover holds a North American challenge for a select few of the top Master Tech’s. Only 8 in all of Canada are chosen for the honor to compete. We are so very proud of our techs this year, we had 4 chosen just from our dealer alone, half the Canadian competitors!!!!
The competition was just held between April 23 to May 6 2014. All of our techs won!!! And will now be treated to a trip to the UK to visit the Jaguar/Land Rover facilities and see behind the scenes of how the cars are put together, what an experience, very rare for anyone to have this privilege.
Once in the UK, they will announce the overall number 1 tech (as of now we do have the number one and two tech’s in Canada! guaranteed), we can’t wait to see which one of our guys it will be, this is very exciting for all of us at Grand Touring and we are all so very proud of all our tech’s, not just the ones in the competition.
